In 1979, two friends with a shared dream opened the first Dion's location in Albuquerque, New Mexico. What started as a small neighborhood pizza shop has grown into a beloved institution, but our commitment to quality and community remains unchanged.

Our Journey

1979

The Beginning

First Dion's location opens in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Two friends with a vision to serve authentic New Mexican pizza to their community.

1985

Growing Roots

Expanded to three locations across Albuquerque. Introduced our signature green chile pizza that became an instant local favorite.

1992

State-wide Recognition

Opened our 10th location and became New Mexico's most beloved pizza chain. Featured in Southwest Magazine as "Best Pizza in the Southwest."

2001

Innovation Era
